Many women assume birth preparation is about strengthening.

In reality, one of the most common things I find is that pregnant women don't know how to feel, relax, and lengthen their pelvic floor.

When the pelvic floor is constantly holding tension, it can become difficult to fully relax during labor when your body needs it most.

My approach combines pelvic floor therapy, nervous system support, movement, body awareness, and hands-on treatment to help you prepare your body for labor and birth.

Birth Prep Evaluation

Prepare Your Pelvic Floor for Labor, Birth, and Recovery

You're preparing for your baby.

But who's preparing your pelvic floor?

Very few are taught how to prepare the muscles that will need to lengthen, relax, and adapt during labor and birth.

If you've ever wondered:

✔ "How do I know if my pelvic floor is too tight?"

✔ "Will I tear during birth?"

✔ "Should I be doing Kegels?"

✔ "How do I prepare my body for pushing?"

✔ "What can I do now to make labor easier?"

You're in the right place.

What Makes My Approach Different?

What Happens During Your Birth Prep Evaluation?

Your 75-minute evaluation is designed to help us understand how your body is moving, where it's holding tension, and what areas may benefit from support before labor.

Depending on your comfort level and stage of pregnancy, your evaluation may include:

Comprehensive Birth & Health History

Whole Body Movement Assessment

Pelvic Floor Assessment

Personalized Birth Prep Plan

This Evaluation Is Perfect For You If:

✔ You're pregnant and want to prepare for a vaginal birth

✔ You want to learn how to relax your pelvic floor

✔ You experience pelvic tension, pelvic pain, or pressure

✔ You have pain with sex or pelvic exams

✔ You're worried about tearing during labor

✔ You want practical tools to prepare your body for birth

✔ You want a personalized plan instead of generic internet advice

My Training & Approach

My approach has been influenced by advanced training with Tami Lynn Kent, PT, Dr. Jennifer Mercier, ND, Lindsey Vestal, OT, and Lynn Schulte, PT.

Through these mentors, I learned to look beyond symptoms and become curious about the relationship between the pelvic floor, nervous system, movement patterns, breath, and the protective strategies women carry in their bodies.

This perspective continues to shape my Pelvic Unwinding approach and the way I help women prepare for labor and birth.

When the body feels unsafe, it protects.
When the body protects, the pelvic floor often tightens.
I help women uncover where their body is holding tension and teach them how to release it so intimacy feels more comfortable and birth feels less intimidating.
